Love In a Death Melody

Notes are pounding in my head
as I try to fall asleep.
The melody is sick
and I'm vomiting the beat.
Vibrations on my walls
shrieking chills right up my spine,
tapping in my joints,
whirling images in my mind.

The tunes are getting faster
can feel the rhythm in my chest.
A piano's softly typing
word that sound the best.
They have carved into my ears
where the drum is always drumming.
Wired strings laced through my lips
just to keep myself from humming.

Stop the shrieking pain
you are pounding in my head.
I find myself enjoying
your death melody in my bed.
